bZ’s available power back door with kick sensor gives you easy access to a spacious and versatile cargo area. Standard smart key and push button start, get you underway without ever having to remove a key from purse or pocket.

ELECTRIC MOTORS

On the XLE FWD Model, the high-capacity lithium-ion battery pack powers the electric motor that is positioned in the front of the vehicle. AWD models boast two motors, one in front and one in the rear.

e-TNGA PLATFORM

bZ uses the e-TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture) platform, that positions the battery low in the chassis, for a lower center of gravity that elevates driving dynamics and increases your sense of command and control.

X-MODE® & Grip-Control

Take your adventures further. bZ’s All-Wheel Drive system adds X-MODE®,3 and Grip Control engineered to help you handle tricky terrain and low-grip situations like mud and snow.

Simple, Flexible EV Charging Options

bZ electric SUV makes it easy to stay in charge, with a standard Dual Voltage Charging Cable (120V/240V), CCS/J1772 Charging Adapter, and Level 2 and 3 charging connectors, so you can plug-in at home, at work, or at most public EV charging stations across the country. And Plug & Charge capability allows automatic identification, authentication and authorization at selected charging networks, reducing the need for multiple mobile charging applications.

The best setup for faster charging at home. Under ideal conditions (external air temperature of 25 degrees Celsius) you can go from 10% (Low Battery Light indicator) to 100% (fully charged) in about 5.5 hours (XLE FWD) or 7 hours (XLE AWD and LTD AWD). Level 2 charger should be installed at home by a licensed electrician. You can also find Level 2 chargers at public charging stations.

Public Charging

Under ideal conditions (external air temperature of 25 degrees Celsius with 150kW or above Level 3 DC Fast Charger), you can charge from 10% (Low Battery Light indicator) to 80% in as quickly as 28 minutes although a number of variables will result in significantly longer charge times. Level 3 DC Fast Charging currently only available at public charging stations.

STANDARD BLIND SPOT MONITOR WITH SAFE EXIT ASSIST

For added safety and peace of mind, bZ offers a standard Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) with Safe Exit Assist (SEA). BSM alerts you to the presence of vehicles in adjacent lanes that may have escaped visibility in your side-view mirrors. While SEA alerts you to oncoming traffic before you open the door to exit.

AVAILABLE TRAFFIC JAM ASSIST

Traffic Jam Assist helps take some of the stress out of the low-speed, stop-and-go highway driving in a traffic jam by providing acceleration, braking, and hands-free steering assistance while you drive. Traffic Jam Assist requires an active Drive Connect trial or subscription. 3 year trial is included on all models.

AVAILABLE FRONT CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT

Front Cross Traffic Alert utilizes front lateral side radar to indicate when a vehicle is approaching from a side direction. While stopped with blind crossing, the driver’s vision may be obscured by buildings or other obstacles. Front Cross Traffic Alert can detect unseen oncoming traffic, and alert the driver.
